PreciseGovCon is a sister company to Precise Analytics, helping small businesses navigate federal contracting — registrations, certifications, bid discovery, and proposal support. Precise Analytics builds and operates the data pipelines and analytics layer underneath it.
The Challenge
Small businesses pursuing federal contracts have to track opportunities across SAM.gov, Grants.gov, agency-specific solicitation feeds, and set-aside programs — each with its own format, update cadence, and eligibility rules. Doing this manually means missed deadlines and missed-fit opportunities that never surface in the first place.
PreciseGovCon needed a way to turn that scattered, high-noise data landscape into a clean, prioritized feed that actually reflects a given business's certifications, capabilities, and set-aside eligibility — not just a raw keyword search.
The Approach
As the sister company responsible for the data engineering and analytics side of the business, Precise Analytics designed the ingestion pipelines that pull and normalize opportunity data from multiple federal sources on a recurring schedule, deduplicate overlapping listings, and tag each opportunity against a weighted capability profile — set-aside status, NAICS/technical fit, and agency history.
On top of ingestion, we built the scoring and analytics layer that ranks opportunities by fit, flags upcoming deadlines, and feeds compliance-readiness views so a business can see at a glance whether it actually qualifies before investing time in a bid.
The Result
Instead of manually checking multiple government portals, PreciseGovCon users get a continuously refreshed, pre-scored opportunity feed built entirely on Precise Analytics' data pipeline and analytics infrastructure — the same data engineering discipline we apply to client work, running behind our own sister company's product.
