About the AI Generalist Trainer Role

Precise Analytics is building a bench of AI Generalist Trainers to support broad-scope AI training engagements. In this role, you will work on a rotating variety of tasks — including writing high-quality prompts, evaluating model responses, performing preference ranking, and producing sample outputs that help large language models learn from human examples. Generalist Trainers are versatile contributors who can shift across domains and task types, making them essential to agile AI training programs.

Key Responsibilities for AI Generalist Trainer

• Write diverse, high-quality prompts across factual, creative, analytical, and coding domains
• Evaluate AI model responses for accuracy, tone, helpfulness, and safety
• Complete preference ranking and comparison tasks across varied content categories
• Generate example responses demonstrating ideal model behavior
• Follow task-specific rubrics and annotation guidelines precisely
• Flag ambiguous instructions or low-quality source content to project leads
• Adapt quickly to new task types and maintain high throughput and quality scores

Required Qualifications for AI Generalist Trainer

• Bachelor's degree in any field or demonstrated equivalent expertise
• Strong written English communication and reading comprehension
• Ability to follow detailed annotation guidelines and quality rubrics
• Reliable high-speed internet and a personal computer
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage time independently
• Comfortable working across a wide range of subject matter without deep specialization

Preferred Qualifications for AI Generalist Trainer

• Prior experience on AI training platforms (Outlier, Scale AI, Remotasks, Appen, or Surge HQ)
• Familiarity with large language models and how they are evaluated
• Ability to write clean, functional code in Python, JavaScript, or SQL
